Following a multi-agency investigation with the Jamestown Police Department and Ellicott Police Department, the New York State Police have arrested Ramon Pando, age 29, of Jamestown NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (misdemeanor), Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, two counts of Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and several other traffic violations.

Investigation revealed Pando was travelling on State Route 394 and was involved in 3 separate motor vehicle accidents which all occurred around 7:15pm – 7:30pm. 2 of the accidents occurred in the Town of Ellicott and 1 accident occurred in the city of Jamestown. As a result of one accident, Craig Underwood, age 66, of Jamestown NY and Jennifer Hamilton, age 41 of Georgetown, KY were transported to UPMC Chautauqua WCA hospital via ambulance. Underwood had a complainant of back pain and Hamilton was transported for precautionary reasons.

Pando was processed and then arraigned before Town of Ellicott Justice Marilyn Gerace and was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $9,000 cash or $18,000 bond, to reappear in court on July 3, 2018.
