A 31 year old Williamsville man was charged with Felony DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd on June 22, 2018 following a traffic accident.

According to New York State Troopers, officers out of SP Lockport were dispatched by Niagara County Sheriff’s Office for a report of a vehicle collision on Chestnut Ridge Road and Rochester Road in the town of Lockport.  Further investigation revealed that the 2016 Ford Escape involved in the collision was reported stolen from Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Matthew K. Shiesley was attending an alcohol addiction program at the hospital before stealing the Ford.  Shiesley was transported to SP Lockport for processing and gave a positive breath sample of .17% BAC.

Shiesley was then transported to the City of Lockport Police Department for further criminal charges on the vehicle theft.
