PRESS RELEASE

A 48 year old Bemus Point man was charged with DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree on June 9, 2018 after a call to police for assistance.

According to New York State Troopers, officers were attempting to locate James Aiello for the purposes of investigating an unrelated complaint when they observed him pull into his driveway. Aiello was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs and transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .17. Aiello was additionally charged with AUO 1st Degree when his driving record revealed his license was suspended for an alcohol related offense. Aiello was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Ellery Court and released.

Aiello is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellery Court later in the month to answer the charges.
