A 34 year old Jamestown man was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on June 1, 2018 after a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, Justin Courson was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for not wearing his seatbelt and while speaking to Courson, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Courson and his vehicle revealed a bag containing a small amount of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana residue.
Courson was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court next month.
