A 28 year old Medina man was charged with Welfare Fraud in the 5th Degree on May 30, 2018 after a tip about the crime was given to New York State Troopers.
According to New York State Troopers, they were advised by the Orleans County Department of Social Services that Matthew P. Parker used an EBT card not issued to him to obtain a total of $185.88 in SNAP benefits that he was not entitled to during the month of May.
Parker was issued an appearance ticket for the town of Albion Court for June 2018.
