A 26 year old Salamanca man was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on May 14, 2018 after a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, during a traffic stop on North State Street in the Town of Salamanca, officers arrested Patrick Askey for operating his vehicle while his license was suspended. During the arrest, Troopers discovered a quantity of prescription hydrocodone pills and related drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Askey was processed and released with appearance tickets returnable to the town of Salamanca Court.
