CANISIUS COLLEGE ATHLETICS
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The MAAC Rowing All-Academic Team was announced Sunday afternoon and 11 members of the Golden Griffins were honored by the Conference.
Seniors Patricia Beaulieu, Kathryn Hobika, Grace Horner and Madeline Kurka; juniors Sydney Bichsel, Gianna Ortolani and Michelle Turner; and sophomores Jessica Fabian, Misa Gamble, Alexandra Heinz and Emma Vicarettiwere all honored by the conference for their achievements.
In order to be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Canisius ended its season at the MAAC tournament Sunday, finishing third overall as a team with 37 points behind Jacksonville (53 points) and Marist (47). Beaulieu and Fabian were named to the All-MAAC First team while Bichsel and Heinz were named to the All-MAAC Second team.
