BUFFALO, N.Y. — Former University at Buffalo safety Tim Roberts has earned an invitation from the Washington Redskins to attend their rookie minicamp. He joins David Goldsby (Bills & Raiders) and Chris Ford (Ravens) who also earned rookie minicamp invites as well as Demone Harris who signed a free agent contract with the Buccaneers. 
Robert, a transfer from Fullerton College, started 21 games at safety in his two seasons with the Bulls. He totaled 126 tackles, two tackles for loss and three interceptions over his UB career. A standout student, the Hahnville, LA native was a 2017 Academic All-District, Academic All-MAC and MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete selection and was named to the Hampshire Honor Society.
Roberts will report to Redskins camp on May 10.
