The Erie County Legislature Thursday voted 9-2 to approve a Fair Housing Law to make it illegal for landlords or property owners to discriminate against prospective tenants who receive government subsidies like vouchers or who are not U.S. citizens.
Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz said he will sign the measure. Legislators Ed Rath lll and Kevin Hardwick voted against it.
