ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The weather is warming and the promotions are heating up as the Red Wings (and Plates) return from the road to open a four-game series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, May 3-6. The series is highlighted by Plates Opening Night featuring $5.85 tickets, the world premiere of Plates P’ale and more, Star Wars Night and a Bark in the Park!
Tickets to any game can be purchased at the Red Wings Ticket Office, over the phone at (585) 423-WING (9464) during normal business hours or around-the-clock at RedWingsBaseball.com.
THURSDAY, MAY 3 (7:05 PM) vs. LEHIGH VALLEY IRONPIGS (Phillies)
PLATES OPENING DAY – After a 266-day span to settle your stomachs, the Rochester Plates take the field for Plates Opening Night!
Here’s what’s in store:
– ALL tickets both online AND at the Frontier Field Ticket Office are just $5.85! No promo code necessary.
– The FIRST 100 fans wearing Plates gear through the Frontier Field gates will receive a FREE Trash Can!
– Happy Hour from 6-7 pm featuring live music from Neil Van Dorn and $2 Plates P’ale drafts!
– Ever wanted to throw out a first pitch? Wear your Plates gear to the game and you might have an opportunity! From 6:20-6:40, we’ll be throwing as many first pitches as we can. ONLY fans wearing Plates gear will have the opportunity. Please note, we can’t guarantee all fans who want to throw out a first pitch will get the chance to.
– ALL Plates merchandise in the Team Store will be 30% off. IN STORE ONLY.
– Specialty Plates available at various concession stands.

STAR WARS NIGHT – May the Fourth Be With You! For the first time ever the Red Wings will be hosting their annual Star Wars Game on Star Wars Day – Friday, May 4! This year’s game will feature character appearances from The 501st Legion’s Garrison Excelsior and the Rebel Legion – Echo Base, a game-worn Ewok jersey auction to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Return of the Jedi benefiting the Hillside Family of Agencies and MORE!
FOOD SPECIAL – Wookie Fruity Cake at Ice Cream Plus – Yellow cake with vanilla ice cream, whip cream and covered with fruity pebbles.
SUNDAY, MAY 6 (1:05 PM) vs. LEHIGH VALLEY IRONPIGS (Phillies)
BARK IN THE PARK – Baseball is better with your Good Boy or Girl! Tickets for Bark in the Park games presented by Invisible Fence Brand are just $8 (Doggos are FREE). New this year, there will be a pre-game, on-field dog parade that will begin at 12:30 pm.
KIDS RUN THE BASES – All kids 12 and under will have the chance to run the bases with Spikes & Mittsy following each Sunday home game courtesy of the Burger Bar at Wegmans Pittsford.
