CANISIUS COLLEGE ATHLETICS
The Canisius athletic department announced Sunday morning that the 20th annual Shoes for the Shelter 5K Run, presented by Independent Health, has been canceled due to the weather. There will be no make-up date for this event.
Canisius will honor all refund requests. Correspondence concerning refunds will be delivered via email on Monday, April 16.
Canisius will still accept shoe donations for those who are interested. The footwear can be dropped off at Room 181 of the Koessler Athletic Center on Monday, April 16. To date, Canisius has collected 38,049 pairs of shoes for the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Buffalo.
