CANISIUS COLLEGE ATHLETICS
PHILADELPHIA, P.A. — The Canisius rowing program continues its 2018 spring season on Saturday, as the Griffs participated at the 52nd Kerr Cup in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Griffs’ first varsity eight consisting of Misa Gamble, Max McGuire, Sydney Bichsel, Brooke Stanley, Jessica Fabian, Shannon Pritzker, Tara Federow, Emma Vicaretti and Alexandra Heinz reached the petite finals and placed second out of six boats in that heat with a time of 7:46.29.

The Golden Griffins second varsity eight made-up of Grace Horner, Kenzie McGuire, Bridget Lillis, Cat Gallagher,Audrey Rieman, Madeline Kurka, Patricia Beaulieu, Michelle Turner and Melissa Frank finished fifth out of five vessels in Heat 1 of the preliminaries, coming in with a time of 8:02.24.
