PEMBROKE — A 61-year-old Albion man who was reportedly threatening people with a gun Wednesday night was fatally shot by a responding Genesee County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

According to police reports, Keith A. Kent was armed with a handgun and threatening patrons of the Indian Falls Log Cabin Bar & Restaurant shortly before 11 p.m. During the incident, deputies confronted Kent, at which time he was fatally shot.

New York State Police have been requested to handle the investigation.

No other injuries resulted from this incident.
