JAMESTOWN — A 26-year-old Conewango Valley man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Travis Terry was pulled over on Route 60 for a traffic violation and during the traffic stop, Terry was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine and in possession of a pipe containing methamphetamine residue. Terry was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert. Terry was then processed, issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month to answer the charges.
