BUFFALO — Community Beer Works knows what brings all the boys to the yard. And Friday, they’ll hold a can release for their Banana Split Milkshake Hefeweizen ale.
The local brewery will undoubtedly maintain their charm during the release, slated to take place from 3-10 p.m. at CBW, 15 Lafayette Ave.
According to the local brewery, “Banana Split Milkshake starts as a traditional Hefeweizen brewed with 50% pilsner malt and 50% wheat, fermented with a Bavarian Hefe yeast at high temperature to enhance the banana and clove flavor. We then conditioned this tasty treat on 40lbs of strawberries, organic vanilla beans AND added lactose and chocolate to top off the milkshake experience! FULL EFFECT MILKSHAKE!!!”
The Facebook event page continues, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you do not want to miss! Ok, we’ll probably make it again but not for a long time. Come to our Lafayette Ave taproom for Banana Split Milkshake while you can!”
Considering how quickly they’ve run out of the milkshake ale twice before, CBW is likely confident enough to say, “Damn right, it’s better than yours.”
