A 21 year old Jamestown man was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on April 6th, 2018.
According to New York State Troopers, Apperson was pulled over on Route 62 in Kiantone for speeding and while speaking to Apperson, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Apperson was found to be in possession of a pipe containing marijuana residue after a vehicle search, and a license check revealed a bench warrant for Apperson for a prior Marijuana charge.
Apperson was issued a speeding ticket and an appearance ticket for Kiantone and then arraigned in the town of Carroll Court where he was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
