ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Red Wings have announced that Friday’s Opening Night at Frontier Field against the Buffalo Bisons has been postponed due to weather.
The clubs will now open the season on Saturday, April 7 with a single, nine-inning contest with a 3:05 p.m. first pitch (NEW TIME -originally scheduled for 1:05 p.m.).
Sunday’s game will also remain a single game and at the scheduled first pitch time of 1:05 p.m. The game lost on Friday will be made up during the Bisons next visit to Frontier Field, May 25-28 (to be announced).
The Bisons season-opening roadtrip will go through Wednesday with a three-game series in Pawtucket scheduled for April 9-11. The Bisons Home Opener is Thursday, April 12 against the Indianapolis Indians (2:05 p.m.). CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS
