BELMONT — A 57-year-old Belmont woman was charged Sunday with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop by New York State Police.
According to NYSP, Troopers investigating a report of an intoxicated driver stopped Frances M. Young at the driveway of a residence. Upon interview, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. SFSTs were conducted and failed. She was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to SP Amity for processing where she recorded a 0.19 percent BAC. She was released on tickets and is due in the Village of Belmont Court on April 18.
