LATHAM, N.Y. — Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General, announces the recent reenlistment of members of the State National Guard in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard.

They include:

Specialist Chavez Blake from Rochester, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters Service Company, 642nd Support Battallion.

Staff Sergeant Jodie Brassard from West Seneca, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion.

Specialist David Buttery from Rochester, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Military Intelligence Company D, 152nd Brigade Engineer Battalion.

Master Sergeant Ronald Folga from Tonawanda, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Operations Company, 42nd Infantry Division.

Specialist Anthony Guggino from West Henrietta, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters Service Company, 642nd Support Battallion.

Sergeant Shawn Hoerner from West Seneca, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition).

Sergeant Joshua Huff from Fairport, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters Service Company, 642nd Support Battallion.

Sergeant Matthew Jones from Kenmore, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition).

Sergeant Brian Kennedy from Rochester, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition).

Sergeant First Class Scott Mack from Buffalo, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion.

Sergeant Steven Manciocchi from East Rochester, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters Service Company, 642nd Support Battallion.

Specialist Charles Mielke from West Bolivar, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters Service Company, 642nd Support Battallion.

Staff Sergeant Andrew Miller from North Tonawanda, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Company C (Medical), 427th Brigade Support Battalion.

Sergeant First Class Daniel Misner from North Tonawanda, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Combat Engineer Company B, 152nd Brigade Engineer Battalion.

Sergeant Brian Payne from Tonawanda, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters, 153rd Troop Command (Brigade).

Staff Sergeant Mario Pontarelli from Rochester, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Company A, 2-108th Infantry.

Sergeant Christian Presto from North Tonawanda, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the 105th Military Police Company.

Specialist Warren Solomon from Grand Island, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the C Troop, 2-101 Cavalry,(Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition).

Corporal Alexander Sonneville from Webster, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition).

Specialist Ashley Sullivan from Blasdell, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Company D (Forward Support Company Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition), 427th Brigade Support Battalion.

Specialist Nathan Wall from Hamlin, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters Service Company, 642nd Support Battallion.

Sergeant Melody Wharram from Brockport, N.Y. who reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 102nd Military Police Battalion.

“New Yorkers count on our Citizen Soldiers to be ready and be there when disaster strikes,” German said. “And our nation counts on our Soldiers when duty calls for overseas service. I congratulate our members for choosing to stay in service and striking that balance between military duties, education or employment commitments and family obligations. Every one of the men and women serving in our 16,000 strong Army and Air National Guard plays an important role and these Soldiers who continue to reenlist provide experience and continuity for whatever challenges lay ahead for our New York National Guard family.”
