PRESS RELEASE
BUFFALO — The Western New York Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse is excited to announce the arrival of the Rabil Tour on Sunday, July 1st, in Buffalo, New York. The three-hour lacrosse clinic, available to boys and girls ages 9 to 16 will be Paul’s only stop in the Empire State this year, and starts at 2:00pm inside the Lacrosse Stadium on the campus of Williamsville East High School. The Rabil Tour also offers an exclusive VIP Session, which will begin following the conclusion of the main event.

Long considered the most recognized lacrosse player on earth, Paul Rabil plays professionally for the New York Lizards and is a current member of Team USA. He has won championships at all levels of competition, including League MVP’s, a World MVP, and MLL Championship MVP. Paul Rabil’s elite instruction and leadership development provide an engaging and thorough learning experience for lacrosse players of all levels.
“Western New York’s strong lacrosse heritage and impressive passion for the sport are terrific reasons to add a Rabil Tour stop in this region of the country,” said Paul Rabil. “However, the willingness to learn to play at a championship level, as displayed by local coaches and players, made the decision to go to Buffalo an easy one. My team and I are really looking forward to the opportunity.”
Attendees of the Rabil Tour in Buffalo will learn first-hand from the number one player in lacrosse with a revamped 2018 agenda of demonstrations and drills. Players will take home tips from Paul in the demo ring and receive pointers as he circulates throughout the event. Everyone should expect to improve on shooting, dodging, passing, stickwork, and more.
“We are thrilled to host Paul Rabil and his Rabil Tour to the Buffalo area,” said Ed Greenway, President of the Western New York Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse. “Realizing a player of Paul’s caliber is going to be personally teaching and offering his knowledge to the local lacrosse community is truly tremendous. We’re certain this event will sell-out quickly considering the appetite for high-quality lacrosse events, such as the Rabil Tour.”
The Rabil Tour in Buffalo is a sanctioned Rabil Event and is in partnership with U.S. Lacrosse. All participants of the event must have an active U.S. Lacrosse membership to participate. For those who do not have an active membership, players are encouraged to sign-up and join on the U.S. Lacrosse website at USLacrosse.org.
