CANISIUS COLLEGE ATHLETICS
Canisius men’s and women’s lacrosse teams, in conjunction with DICK’S Sporting Goods, will be hosting a pair of free instructional clinics during the month of April, the teams announced Wednesday.
The women’s skills clinic, for girls in grades 1-8, will run pregame from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on April 8, before the Griffs take on Monmouth at 11 a.m. Head coach Allison Daley and select players will be directing the clinic.
The men’s skills clinic, scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. on April 20, for boys in grades 1-8, will include instruction from Canisius head coach Mark Miyashita, along with selected Griffs players. The clinic will take place immediately following the Griffs’ 4 p.m. contest against Manhattan.
Capped at 100 participants, players must not play on a team with the Class of 2021 or older, due to NCAA compliance rules and regulations.
All players who sign up will receive a free ticket to the game that day, as well as a special gift from DICK’S Sporting Goods.
