This week’s featured event is Saturday’s Folkfaces, Pine Fever, & The Tenants at Nietzsche’s.
Folkfaces is an award winning quintet out of Buffalo, NY that plays a rowdy blend of rootsy Folk, Jazz, and Blues – fusing classic forms with contemporary feelings and irresistibly danceable energy. Their inspiration comes from the mountains of Appalachia to the deltas of Mississippi, the swamps of Louisiana to the Concrete Jungle of the Rustbelt. Specializing in merriment and sticking it to the system, Folkfaces make the crowd dance and the hierarchy shatter.
Folkfaces Spring Tour 2018 hits their hometown on Saturday, March 24th at the legendary Nietzsche’s! They will be joined by the swanky western swing & wildstyle hillbilly stomps of Pine Fever alongside the gritty blues & folk-rock of The Tenants (out of Akron, OH). Dance on downtown starting at 10:00pm for this rambunctious night, if you’re 21 or older all you need is 5 dollars and your ID to get in!
