NEW YORK — As Washington refuses to act to protect DACA grantees, New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today released new videos featuring New York Dreamers whose futures have been jeopardized by President Trump’s rollback of DACA — including a Dreamer who worked at the Trump SoHo Hotel.

Attorney General Schneiderman is leading a coalition of 17 Attorneys General in a multistate lawsuit to protect DACA grantees. Last month, a federal court granted a preliminary injunction in the case and the U.S. Supreme Court denied the Trump administration’s petition to bypass the usual judicial process, ensuring the preliminary injunction will remain in place for now.

“Dreamers are New Yorkers.” said Attorney General Schneiderman. “Dreamers play by the rules, work hard, and pay taxes. For most, America is the only home they have ever known. They deserve to stay here—and if Washington refuses to protect them, we will keep fighting for them in court.”

The videos released today are viewable individually on YouTube, and compiled together here.
