BEREA, Ohio — Baldwin Wallace University men’s lacrosse head coach Trey Keeley has announced his 2018 team captains.

Brian Jandzinski of Lancaster is one of four men’s lacrosse players to be named captain for the 2018 season.

The lone junior captain, Jandzinski is the key staple in a proud defensive tradition that graduated the OAC’s first All-American and two captains. He will lead a new-look defensive unit this season and his mentorship will be key in continuing that tough defensive tradition for the Yellow Jackets.

BW will open the 2018 season on the road on Wednesday, February 21, with a non-conference game against Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College at 6 p.m. inside Alexandre Stadium.

Baldwin Wallace University, founded in 1845, was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender. An independent, coeducational university of 4,000 students, BW offers coursework in the liberal arts tradition in more than 80 academic areas. Located in Berea, 12 miles from downtown Cleveland, BW offers students the cultural, educational and business advantages of a major metropolitan area.
