NORTH HARMONY — A 27-year-old Pennsylvania man was charged today with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on I-86.

According to New York State Police, Chad Carlson was pulled over for a traffic violation and during the course of the traffic stop, Carlson was found to be in possession of a Vicodin pill, a controlled substance for which he did not have a prescription. Carlson was taken into custody, processed at SP Jamestown and released with an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket.

Carlson is scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court on a later date.
