ALLEGANY — A 22-year-old Olean man was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped Joshua Robinson on 7th Street after he nearly struck the curb and a mailbox. While interviewing him there was an odor of alcoholic beverages coming from his breathe as well as an odor of marijuana. SFSTs were administered and he was subsequently arrested. A search of the vehicle resulted in finding marijuana which was secured as evidence. Robinson submitted to a breath test which registered a 0.14 percent BAC.
Robinson was released on appearance tickets returnable to Allegany Village Court at a later date and time.
