LATHAM — Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
- Mikeal Bell from Wilson and assigned to the Company A (Engineer), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Todd Elis from Alden and assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Kevin Hockeborn from Scottsville and assigned to the 222nd Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
- Kane Jennings from Buffalo and assigned to the Headquarters and Support Company, 42nd Infantry Division received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Fatoumata Kante from Buffalo and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Cody Lachut from Arcade and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Ian Leary from Pittsford and assigned to the 10th Mountain Division (Mobile Command Post Operations Detachment) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Joseph Nelk from Pittsford and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Ralph Nisbet from Arcade and assigned to the Headquarters and Support Company, 42nd Infantry Division received a promotion to the rank of Private.
- Anthony Sardo from Buffalo and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
- Glenn Scott from Tonawanda and assigned to the Division Signal Company, 42nd Infantry Division received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
- Levi Skelton from Lockport and assigned to the Company A (Engineer), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
- Vicente Torres from Lackawanna and assigned to the Company C, 101st Signal Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.

- Timothy Wheeler from Rochester and assigned to the Company B, Recruiting and Retention received a promotion to the rank of Master Sergeant.
