TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 27-year-old woman died Monday evening as the result of a head-on motor vehicle crash on Dysinger Road.
According to New York State Police, Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) responded to the head-on collision on Dysinger Road just west of Old Dysinger Road at 6 p.m. Investigation revealed that a 2008 Saturn Vue traveling east bound on Dysinger and crossed the center line and struck an oncoming 2015 Toyota Highlander head-on. The operator of the Saturn, Elizabeth A. Lytle of Williamsville was pronounced deceased.
The operator of the Toyota was transported to Erie County Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled for Lytle. NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit responded and investigated the scene. This is still an ongoing investigation.
