KENNEDY — A 40-year-old Mount Vernon resident was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.
According to New York State Police, Zeljko Ljubibratic was pulled over on I-86 for driving 91 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone. While speaking to Ljubibratic, the Troopers smelled marijuana eminating from inside the vehicle. After searching Ljubibratic and his vehicle a marijuana cigarette was located.
He was issued an appearance ticket and a speeding and is scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court later in the month.
