Baseball fans in Western New York and Southern Ontario will be able to meet and get autographs from the future stars of the Buffalo Bisons and Toronto Blue Jays at the 2nd annual Hot Stove Prospect Showcase on Wednesday, January 17 (6-7:30 p.m.) at The Atrium @ Rich’s. Third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and shortstop Bo Bichette are among the top prospects from the Blue Jays organization that are scheduled to appear at this year’s event.
In all, more than a dozen top prospects are scheduled to meet and sign autographs with Bisons fans at The Atrium @ Rich’s. The event will also feature a ‘State of the System’ address by the Blue Jays Vice President of baseball operations, Ben Cherington, as well as a chance for Bisons fans hang out with mascots, Buster T. Bison and Celery.
PROSPECTS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR
Scheduled to appear this year’s Hot Stove Prospect Showcase are 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (MLB.com’s #4 overall prospect), SS Bo Bichette (MLB.com’s #26 overall prospect), RHP Sean Reid-Foley (Blue Jays #6 prospect), C Max Pentecost (Blue Jays #8), LHP Ryan Borucki (Blue Jays #13), C Danny Jansen (Blue Jays #17), OF J.D. Davis (Blue Jays #19) and RHP Jon Harris (Blue Jays #21). Bisons 2017 MVP Roemon Fields is scheduled to appear as well as 2017 IL All-Star, INF Jason Leblebijian. RHP Taylor Guerrieri, C Reese McGuire, LHP Tom Pannone and RHP Jordan Romanoare also scheduled to appear at the event.
ADMISSION
Admission for the Hot Stove Prospect Showcase is only a $10 Donation to the Buffalo Bisons Charitable Foundation and the Bisons are asking fans to RSVP by calling (716) 846-2011. Admission includes a special Bisons/Blue Jays Autograph Card, one complimentary Hot Dog as well as snacks and Coca-Cola Soft Drinks (while supplies last) and a FREE 2018 Opening Day Ticket for the Bisons game against the Indianapolis Indians on April 12. There will also be FREE parking (while spaces last) in the lot across from The Atrium @ Rich’s on Niagara St.
Doors for the Hot Stove Prospect Showcase will open at 5:45 p.m. and the complimentary Hot Dog and snacks/Coca-Cola soft drinks will be offered from 5:45- 6:30 p.m. Autograph signings will run from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
