NIAGARA FALLS — A 29-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Thursday with fourth-degree possession of marijuana and third-degree driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on Centre Ave.

According to New York State Police, at approximately 5:55 pm, Troopers stopped the vehicle Taddeus Remington was operating for not having a valid inspection certificate. Following the stop, a strong odor of marijuana was noticed coming from the vehicle. Remington was found with approximately 53 grams of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that Remington’s driving privileges in New York State were suspended.
