KIANTONE — A 17-year-old Jamestown man is facing assault and weapons charges following an early morning incident on New Year’s Day.

According to New York State Police, at 2:57 a.m. Monday, Troopers assigned out of SP Jamestown responded to a report of two people stabbed on Peck Settlement Road. Further investigation revealed that an altercation occurred in the residence between Justice W. McBride and two other subjects which resulted in the two victims being transported to WCA Hospital in Jamestown of their stab wounds. One victim was treated and released and the second victim was transferred to Hamot Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition.

McBride was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in the town of Kiantone Court and was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

The State Police were assisted by the Jamestown Police Department with this investigation.
This is still an ongoing criminal investigation.
