KIANTONE — A 42-year-old Jamestown man was charged Thursday with second-degree reckless endangerment and illegal discharge of a firearm following a complaint of a hunter shooting at a deer on posted Audubon property in close proximity to a civilian.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the complaint, arresting Crist Raber, who was then processed at SP Jamestown, issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Kiantone Court and released. Raber is scheduled to appear in the Kiantone Court next month to answer the charges.
