BELMONT — A 25-year-old Belfast woman was charged Saturday with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Troopers, stopped a vehicle for several vehicle and traffic violations and found Michelle K. Camblin, a passenger in the vehicle, to be in possession of marijuana in excess of 25 grams. She was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing and was released on tickets. She is due in the Village of Belmont Court on Jan. 3.
