This week’s featured show is the Local Filmmaker Showcase Charity Screening to be held Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Did you know there’s a movie theater right in the Boulevard Mall out in Amherst, NY? Did you also know you can find a variety of underground & local films being show there? The Screening Room Cinema Cafe features big screen showings of classic, foreign, cult and new independent movies. Movies are shown in a relaxed and comfortable cafe setting, with beer, wine, coffees and snacks served!

Wednesday, November 29th some great coordinators have brought together 7 local films to be shown in an effort to raise money for the Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Fund. Watch 90 minutes of short films in a variety of styles by some of the best local storytellers, featuring the Stephen King adaptation, “IN THE DEATHROOM”. Take part in their raffles for some sweet items, & more! Your mistress of Ceremonies is the wonderful Airy Nikohl!
