YORKSHIRE — A 66-year-old Buffalo man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 16.

According to New York State Police, John W. Herr was stopped for erratic operation and crossing the double solid center line. While interviewing Herr, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was present. Herr was given SFSTs which he failed. Herr was taken to SP-Machias for processing, where he recorded a .19 percent blood alcohol content.

Herr was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Yorkshire in November 2017.
