SCIO — A 51-year-old Wellsville man was charged Sunday with third-degree assault following an altercation Saturday at the Allegany Memorial Speedway.
According to New York State Police, Troopers investigating a physical altercation at the speedway determined that James G. Walsh struck another man multiple times causing him to become unconscious.
Walsh was transported to SP Amity for processing and was released on tickets and is due in the Town of Scio Court on Oct. 17.
