CANISIUS COLLEGE ATHLETICS
The Canisius College rowing program begins the 2017-18 campaign on Saturday as the they head to the Mercyhurst Invitational on Saturday. The race day begins at 10:30 a.m. at Findley Lake.
“I am really excited to be heading back to Findley Lake.” head coach Kerri Brace said. “As a Mercyhurst grad, this is my home course and it means the world to me to be back. In addition, competing against my college coach and mentor, Adrian Spracklen, as well as a great college friend and teammate in Ted Nagorsen [George Mason head coach] is truly a special opportunity.
“Our girls were very strong at this regatta last year, so I look forward to continuing that progress. We’ve put in a lot of great miles over the past couple weeks and we’re ready to test ourselves against two very talented teams,” Brace added.
