JAMESTOWN — A 33-year-old Jamestown man was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on Route 60.

According to New York State Police, Richard Michael was pulled over for a traffic violation and after failing several SFSTs, Michael was placed under arrest. He was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample with a .11 percent blood alcohol content.

His driving record revealed that his driving privileges were revoked due to a refusal to submit to a breath test in 2013, therefore he was additionally charged with AUO 1st Degree. He was processed, arraigned in the Town of Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
