Nearly 1,500 National Grid customers in Buffalo are currently without power. More than 1,000 NYSEG customers in Elma are facing the same issue, as are 1,300 in Lockport.
While National Grid doesn’t list an anticipated restoration time, Elma and Lockport are expected to be returned to normal at 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. respectively.
There are other small pockets of power outages, as well, including about 300 National Grid customers in Hamburg and Cheektowaga. Those customers should be able to return to normal between 4:15 and 4:45 p.m., according to the electric company.
