The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Niagara County through 6 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm was located near Sanborn — nine miles north of North Tonawanda — moving east at 10 mph.
It is expected to bring 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail. Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
