BEMUS POINT — A 31-year-old Bemus Point man was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Bemus-Ellery Road.
According to New York State Police, David Lucariello was stopped for a traffic violation and, while speaking to Lucariello, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed two grams of marijuana under the child seat and Lucariello was placed under arrest. Lucariello was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellery Court later in the month.
