Jeffrey B. Pleace “Trap”, age 60, of Lockport, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Born August 11, 1956 in Lockport, Jeffrey is the son of the late Gloria (Swan) and William F. Peace.

Trap enjoyed his motorcycles and snowmobiles and being outside in nature. In 1980, he went to visit friends in California and lived there for over 20 years working in the oil fields. He then moved back to New York to be with family and friends. He stayed in the gas business until an injury ended his career.

Anyone who knew Trap knew him for his unique outlook on things. He had a big heart for helping others, loved country music going to the “Jam in the Valley” in Varysburg every year. He loved to play cards with his family and had a lot of respect and love for God, referring to him as “The Man Upstairs”.

Surviving Jeffrey is his brother: Scott Pleace, his Alaskan malamute: Yukon Jack and nephews: Shawn, Brandon and Kyle Kibler Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Linda Kibler.

There will be no prior visitation. Services to be held at the convenience of the family.
