Robert “Bob” E. Weet Of Middleport, NY. Entered into rest on June 26, 2017. Son of the late Elroy and Lucy Weet.
Beloved husband of 48 years of Joan (Hyde) Weet. Loving father of Deron (Sara) Weet. Brother of Caryl (the late Robert) Adams and John “Jack” (Jane) Weet. Brother-in-law of Carol Hyde Stokes and Stuart (Helen) Hyde. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Bob was a member of NYS National Guard, past Company F Commander at the Medina Armory, and retired as a Captain.
Bob was a past NYS Chairman of Ducks Unlimited, a Life Sponsor, and a Trustee Emeritus. He was a conservationist, active with the Medina Conservation Club, Orleans County Federation of Sportsman’s Club, and Oak Orchard National Turkey Federation.
The family will be present on Saturday July 1, from 10:00-11:00 am to receive friends, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 7145 Fieldcrest Dr., Lockport, NY 14094, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am.
