APPLETON — Cherries are ready to pick at Bittner Singer Orchards where their U Pick Cherry Orchard is now open daily (including the 4th of July) starting at 8 a.m.
The orchard asks pickers to arrive no later than 6 p.m., as the orchard closes at 7 p.m. Those with questions about hours or the weather conditions, are asked to call 716-778-7858.
Prices are by the pound:
- Less than 10 pounds is $4
- 10-50 pounds is $3
- 50 – 100 pounds is $2.50
- Over 100 pounds is $2
There is a 2 pound per person minimum purchase.
The orchard currently has both dark sweets and dark tarts. Cherries should be available through the end of July.
