Elizabeth A. “Betty Boop” Cook Of Newfane, formerly of Albion, NY beloved “Wiffe” of Gerry Cook entered into rest on Sunday June 19, 2017 in Absolute Care of Gasport. She was born in Albion, NY on April 30, 1933, the daughter of the late Herbert and Frances Stymus Andrews.
Betty was a member of Gaines Carlton Church for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cleaning and going to Darryl’s Place in Middleport. Betty loved watching General Hospital, the NY Yankees and bull riding.
Mother of Jerry (late Carol) Fortunato and Jody (Laura) Fortunato. Step – Mother of Kelly (Ben) Klopfer. Grandmother of Brian (Kalinda) Fortunato, and Nikolas, Riley, Amelia Klopfer. Great grandmother of Juliana Fortunato. Sister in law of Russ Cook, Carol Matthews. Sister of the late Herbert and Burt Andrews.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main Street Newfane, NY THURSDAY from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held FRIDAY at 10:00 AM in Hess Road Wesleyan Church 2514 Hess Rd. Appleton, NY. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM in Mount Albion Cemetery, Albion, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to Carlton Gaines Community Church 14858 Ridge Road West, Albion, NY 14411 would be appreciated by the family.
