Outfielder Zack Granite has been named the Batavia Downs Gaming and Hotel Player of the Week for June 12-18.

For the week, Granite batted .500 (13-for-24) with four runs scored, three RBI, and four walks, and three stolen bases. Graite had a 17-game hitting streak snapped in the second game of the June 18 doublehader in Pawtucket after going 0-for-2 with a walk; he had mutliple hits in 13 of his last 15 games coming into June 18. His .341 average leads all International League batters entering play June 19..

In his fifth professional season after being selected in the 14th round of the 2013 Draft out of Seton Hall University…Won the Sherry Robertson Award as Twins Minor League Player of the Year in 2016…named MiLB.com Organizational All-Star and Southern League post-season All-Star…Tied for the minor league lead with 56 stolen bases in 2016…was 56-for-70 in steal attempts (80%).
