FINDLEY LAKE — A 37-year-old Toledo, Ohio man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-86 on Friday.
According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped a speeding vehicle and while speaking to the driver, William Underwood, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from its interior. Upon searching the vehicle a bag containing 24 grams of marijuana was located inside the door to which passenger Underwood admitted ownership. Underwood was placed under arrest, issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Mina Court and released. The driver was cited for speeding.
