INDEPENDENCE — A 33-year-old Pennsylvania man was charged Tuesday with third-degree grand larceny, accusing of embezzling funds from Independence Rescue Squad Funds in Allegany County.
According to New York State Police, investigation revealed that Scott A. Luce had stolen over $10,000. Luce has not been with the Independence Rescue Squad since 2014 and the investigation revealed that the thefts occurred during 2013 and 2014 while he was Treasurer.
Luce was recently elected as the Town Supervisor Genesee, Pa.
Luce was arraigned at the Town of Willing Court.
