DELEVAN — A 23-year-old Delevan man was charged Tuesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the Yellow Goose in the Village of Delevan for a suspicious person complaint. Hunter J. Mathews was reported to be talking to himself, walking in and out of the store and had removed his pants. Troopers located Mathews and through their investigation, located 18 Clonazepam pills that Mathews admitted to purchasing in the City of Buffalo.
Mathews was processed at SP Machias and issued tickets for the Town of Yorkshire court in June.
